So, I've started this blog to keep myself accountable. My new years resolution is to lose at least 15 lbs. I know this is sort of a generic resolution but it is well needed. I have been gaining weight faster than I'd like to admit for a mix of laziness, bad eating habits, and genetic medical conditions. It is a little bit harder for me to lost weight then most people because of the medical conditions but it is still not impossible. I have tried dieting and excersizing plenty of times before but I always give up after a few weeks. So I'm starting this blog and telling everyone about it because it forces me to keep to what I said I'd do. So my method is this. I'm using a website called calorie counter it's by about.com It is sort of similar to a weight watchers I guess, except it uses actual calories instead of points, but it still grades you on nutrition as well. It also keeps track of burnt calories first by your normal activity level and then you add in any extra activity you do. I've used it before and it worked well but again, I got lazy and stopped doing it after awhile so here I go again. Once school starts up again I plan to work out 2-4 times a week depending on my work schedule. Usually my work out is a mix of cardio and ab toning but I haven't yet figured exactly what I will do. It changes alot so I may just do a summary of what I did for the week here. I would appreciate comments and encouragement as I go! I know I have a few days till I technically start but I figured I'd get everything read and get in the mind set.
